This CD has all the best songs from the classic Disney Princess movies. My 2 & 4 year old daughters love this CD and listen to it every night. A nice way to drift off to sleep and have sweet, princess-y dreams:)

Bought as a gift for my 4-year old niece for her birthday, this CD stays in my car for her use when I'm driving. She loves it and asks for individual princesses and we sing along. I don't know how many times we've listened to it already (4 or 5, I imagine), but I anticipate many more. It's a heck of a lot easier than trying to remember the words on my own. :)

I want to start off by saying that if you're looking to buy only one Disney Princess CD, this is the one to get. This CD contains 12 tracks featuring 7 princesses (at the time that this CD was made, Mulan did not yet exist, in fact, the Disney Princess line itself did not exist). Unlike many other Disney Princess CDs, this one contains a *complete* collection of princess songs. That means that all the songs that any Princess actually sings is on this CD. No, not every song from every Princess movie is on here, but I wouldn't expect them to be, nor do I think that they'd even fit onto this CD. Something that's nice about this CD compared to some of the other Disney Princess CDs is that there is no subversive advertising. That means no mediocre songs from Cinderella V or the Little Mermaid X are on it. There aren't even any songs sung by non-Princesses, all the songs that are sung partly by others are at least partially sung by a Princess as well. One of the most interesting things about the album, in my opinion, is that it contains 'Home' by Susan Egan as Belle. In Beauty and the Beast, Belle has no large solo songs of her own, so they included this track from the original 1994 cast recording of the Beauty and the Beast Broadway musical. This addition makes the CD more interesting and does not at all detract from the quality of the CD. Again, if you are looking to buy only one Disney Princess CD or just find the best one, I would encourage you to buy this one. The selection of songs is complete and there isn't any annoying, mediocre album filler. I highly recommend this Disney Princess CD.

Ande Rieu At the moviues Beautiful music, easy listening, master showman. I will purchase albums in the future. I first discovered him on PBS and his concerts have played there ever since. It has been a pleasure to watch his rise in popularity and fame in the past 5-10 years with good music. He is the Strauss of the 21st century. I saw his winter concert in San Jose several years ago. It was a night to remember.

I am an activity director at a retirement home and most are not able to attend a concert. They just love any Andre videos - thank you for providing them with this form of entertainment - it's the next best to actually "being" there for our seniors.

What's not to like about a good song from a good movie? All the classic movie themes (i.e., Titanic, Zorba the Greek, etc.) are here but played by a full orchestra. I considered this approach to modern music a true and distinct pleasure and a nice break from the classical music that Andre Rieu's orchestra normally presents. The music is uplifting and makes you want to break out in song or get up and dance. Nice background music for a long auto trip. Fun for the family to sing along with. Also a great album for just 'having on' in the house while you do other things. Good also for background music (at a lower volume) when entertaining. I am a fan of Andre Rieu and absolutely adore how he has brought the sound of a full orchestra to today's modern songs. If you like classical music you will like this CD.

I had seen Andre Rieu on YouTube, and fell in love with his music! Since I am 76 years old and crippled by Arthritis, it is not easy for me to go out and shop, so I turned to Amazon. If you're a classical music fan, listen to Andre Rieu, who orchestrates classical as well as show tunes and religious music! In addition, he has a chorus and pyrotechnics to set the mood. I could listen to his music all day!

I can't say enough about how great this CD is. My older brother bought it for me in 1996, and I have been listening to it intermittently ever since. At 12, it was a great introduction to composers through music that I already knew. In high school, it was fun to listen to, in order to get a better understanding of how composers differed and their styles' strongest points (and impressing my band teachers!). In college, this and a Handel CD were my go-to study music. Now, I sometimes listen to it at work. It has come to the point where I cherish these versions as much as the originals. I like all of it but a few have really captured my heart along the way: Main Street Electrical Parade Colors of the Wind Beauty and the Beast Under the Sea and best of all: I Wanna Be Like You. It's just so much fun. Conversely, they made me appreciate the beauty in some of Disney's melodies. Feed the Birds from Mary Poppins? It's amazing. I can't wait to share this CD with my kids one day, and I plan on buying it for my nieces and nephews this Christmas. Simple (some would say overly so, but why can't we just enjoy pretty music without judgment?), and just lovely. Buy it for the childen in your life (or Disney-friendly adult) who show just a smidgen of interest in classical music. It's a great introduction; it set me on the path for a lifelong appreciation of classical music.

The 1st half of the CD is quite pleasant and interesting, but I found the 2nd half somewhat tedious and the selections rather remote. I couldn't identify the tunes at all. Overall, it's an nice enough to play on a long drive.

I enjoy all things Disney and love instrumental music so when I heard this CD playing in my daughter's 5th grade classroom, I asked the teacher where I could purchase a copy. He suggested Amazon.com, which is where I also discovered the companion CD: Bippity Boppity Bach. Beautiful classical style, with familiar Disney tunes ... how can it not be good? ;o)

These Disney tunes done in the style of classic composers are so much fun. Children and adults alike will enjoy these songs over and over.

For many a baby boomer, Walt Disney meant animation. But, besides that, music played an important part in the telling of the story. So interested in music was the animator that he fashioned one of his greatest triumphs ("Fantasia") on the works of the great masters. Well, Donald Frasier and a bevy of musicians have compiled a wonderful collection of interpretations of familiar Disney tunes, many from Walt's time, along with a few latter day compositions. Every selection is a winner, destined to make the listener reflect and recall the films from which they came. And if one is familiar with the composer whose musical style is "copied" here, the album is a treasure.

There is no words to say on how good this movie is a classic speaks for it's self. this is a really good movie. i'm 27 years old and still enjoy it. i recommend it for everyone

This movie has a lot of charm, but sometimes it's a little boring. Snow White is cute and all. And she has an alright personality. But I feel this movie lacks some of the perfection that other titles such as Peter Pan (2-Disc Platinum Edition), The Lion King (Disney Special Platinum Edition) and The Little Mermaid (Two-Disc Platinum Edition) had. The animals add a lot to the overall innocent feel to the movie. And like I said, Snow White has the perfect, girl-next-door personality. I'm sure I was watching the restored version, but from what I did see, the movie has aged really well considering it was from 1937. That was 72+ years ago! I really enjoyed watching them all dance with Snow White. It was cute. All in all, a good movie for kids and some adults to enjoy. Grumpy's comments and Dopey's actions were the funniest. 3.75 stars.

If it weren't for its ending, I'd say this film was absolute onscreen perfection. By this I mean it has ALWAYS seemed so hugely wrong for Snow White to throw off the dwarfs and all the little forest creatures who saved her life, and run off with the Prince. Without even an onscreen goodbye? That's some cold stuff there. Think what her departure must've done to her friends there in the forest. Seriously callous.

Other than the typical norm of what I buy, I had purchased this as a gift for someone. Well it turns out they had secretly loved this disney more so than any of the others, ^.^ (.) Lovely movie, worth buying, come on, everyone has to watch it at least once.

I wanted to get this movie before in went into the Disney vault. Shipping was very fast as promised.

I am often sickened by Disney's overpriced cheesy books, toys and other merchandise that are far from "classic" as well as their idiotic marketing ploy for their videos - the Disney vault. Yet when I watch a wonderful classic film like this all is forgiven. One caution the movie could be frightening to very young or fearful children. The Queen and her mirror are really scary as are her various plots to kill Snow White. I don't think the typical kid over seven would be afraid of it especially since there is so much comic relief from the dwarfs and the cuddly animals though the film is somewhat of a curious mix. I do find Snow White's singing and speaking voice annoying as well as her role of little homemaker but you have to remember she is a product of the late 1930's and appreciate the film as a hallmark of that time.

Video was delivered as promised in ad. Has been viewed many times already. Thank you. Will use again.

walt disney should release these dvds more often,man i'm a disney collector and it's hard for to find any disney dvd at stores , like pinocchio,beauty and the beast,tarzan and other classics(luckily i have those already)and what about toy story??i sure don't see those at ANY STORE NOT EVEN BEST BUY!.anyway about the movie it is very slow ,i like the music and voices it's what makes this movie special,the bad thing about it it's wayyy too expensive,but oh well

Snow White's Step Mother sure had the power to transform to an ugly witch, Why not use her power to transform fairer than Snow White ? In present situation there are so many people who wants quick fix, Liposuction, Facelift, Botox etc.But with Snow White's Step Mother She wished for her death instead,that's her quick fix.There's one classic Wile E. Coyote scenario also, When the Witch was being apprehended by the seven Dwarfs, The Witch is about to drop a huge boulder onto the seven dwarfs but she was strucked by a lightning and the boulder fell with her in a cliff.What's the moral of the story? Don't ask a mirror who's fairer but ask an Expert Doctor who does miracle face transformation instead.

Everytime I watch this video it reminds me of when I stood watching all the excitement of the parade...just a marvelous show!!!

I have seen the parade in person and have the music, but what I wanted was a video version to pull out and use to re-live fond memories. Unfortunately, I have never received my purchase. I don't know what kind of review to write. Have a nice day.

I was so glad to find this lamp!! I bought it as a xmas gift for a friend's daughter, and she loved it. My own two children have the EVA lamps (Cinderella and Spiderman), and they are great. They throw off just enough light, and bulbs last forever. They are getting really difficult to find, though, so this was a steal!!
