That this album is great. I have a copy of this Disney album, I kinda got this album for a Christmas present before. I love this album. One of my favorite songs in this album are the Wonderful Things About Tiggers, because I love Tigger, he's a cat with good sense of humor. I also like Pink Elephants On Parade, that the pink elephants are hilarious and they're from Dumbo, after all I love the disney film Dumbo. This album is great, I kinda like all the songs in this album except for Part of Your World and Best of Friends.

My students love singing to the music during the last couple of weeks of school. They didn't realize they knew some many of the disney songs.

What can you say about Disney? We listen to all 3 volumes (I know there are tons of Disney compilations out there, but these are the orignals) in the car and my daughter changes her favorite every week. The ones from the rides are especially fun, and some of them are quite old, but still great!

My family loves listening to this CD. We have numerous Disney music CD's and we listen to them constantly in the car. I would defintely recommend this to any Disney fan.

The songs on this cd are a bit more "adult" than on the others. I really enjoy, but the kids don't really ask for this one.

I can't say enough about how great this CD is. My older brother bought it for me in 1996, and I have been listening to it intermittently ever since. At 12, it was a great introduction to composers through music that I already knew. In high school, it was fun to listen to, in order to get a better understanding of how composers differed and their styles' strongest points (and impressing my band teachers!). In college, this and a Handel CD were my go-to study music. Now, I sometimes listen to it at work. It has come to the point where I cherish these versions as much as the originals. I like all of it but a few have really captured my heart along the way: Main Street Electrical Parade Colors of the Wind Beauty and the Beast Under the Sea and best of all: I Wanna Be Like You. It's just so much fun. Conversely, they made me appreciate the beauty in some of Disney's melodies. Feed the Birds from Mary Poppins? It's amazing. I can't wait to share this CD with my kids one day, and I plan on buying it for my nieces and nephews this Christmas. Simple (some would say overly so, but why can't we just enjoy pretty music without judgment?), and just lovely. Buy it for the childen in your life (or Disney-friendly adult) who show just a smidgen of interest in classical music. It's a great introduction; it set me on the path for a lifelong appreciation of classical music.

The 1st half of the CD is quite pleasant and interesting, but I found the 2nd half somewhat tedious and the selections rather remote. I couldn't identify the tunes at all. Overall, it's an nice enough to play on a long drive.

I enjoy all things Disney and love instrumental music so when I heard this CD playing in my daughter's 5th grade classroom, I asked the teacher where I could purchase a copy. He suggested Amazon.com, which is where I also discovered the companion CD: Bippity Boppity Bach. Beautiful classical style, with familiar Disney tunes ... how can it not be good? ;o)

These Disney tunes done in the style of classic composers are so much fun. Children and adults alike will enjoy these songs over and over.

For many a baby boomer, Walt Disney meant animation. But, besides that, music played an important part in the telling of the story. So interested in music was the animator that he fashioned one of his greatest triumphs ("Fantasia") on the works of the great masters. Well, Donald Frasier and a bevy of musicians have compiled a wonderful collection of interpretations of familiar Disney tunes, many from Walt's time, along with a few latter day compositions. Every selection is a winner, destined to make the listener reflect and recall the films from which they came. And if one is familiar with the composer whose musical style is "copied" here, the album is a treasure.

I enjoy listening to Michael Crawford's voice and loved the song selections on this one.

I was first introduced to mike in my sixth grade english class..Had I been the only one in class I would of started crying...We were studying Phantom Of The Opera, and had to listen to "Music Of The Night" as part of the lesson..I couldnt startcrying at my desk because other students wre there... I wassincerely moved.. his singing was almost crystaline-- it wasoverpurified , and I couldnt imagine someone who could expressemotions so well... the only problem is -i have all of his CD'sand Im desperately want more...!!! I only wished I could havesaw Mike in EFX. I would have payed max to get front row seats...Saw Phantom with Colm Wilkonson as the lead, no contest, Mikecould of easily overpowered Colm's Phantom anyday...!!!

I have all of his CD's and this is my definite favorite. As usual, Michael sings like he feels each word and is singing just for you. He has a unique way with a song (maybe it's because he's also an actor). You would think that every singer would have this ability, but listening to him it really comes through.Some people (who hear me playing this) probably think I'm nuts-- listening to ''O Holy Night'' in May, but his singing transports you right to Christmas Eve.Also, as if more bonuses were needed, it's a great picture of him and an insightful write-up.

this cd contains the most inspiring songs sung by the most charismatic voice. he lifts through a world of his own, where everything seems to be the way you want. and as he says "each song has its own passion and its own feeling"

I very highly recommend this album. I have been a fan of Michael Crawford's for many years. Michael has the voice of an angel and puts his entire heart and soul into every song that he sings. Michael sings each song with warmth, tenderness, and emotion. I'd give this album 1000 stars if I could. It has a variety of songs from his other albums. It's a truly beautiful and divine album.

I recently bought Pinocchio on Blue Ray, and was blown away by the colors and the quality! I was skeptical that it could look much better than before, but the Blue Ray did make a huge difference. I'd recommend this to anyone who wants to add a high quality classic to their collection. It's worth the extra money.

Disney took the cheap way out by releasing this movie in 4x3 full screen format instead of one of the widescreen formats that Blu Ray disks are normally released in. This is the only Blu Ray disc I have seen in 4 x 3 format. I returned the Blu Ray disc because I refuse to pay Disney's premium price for a non widescreen Blu Ray of Pinoccio. I hope Disney re releases it in widescreen because it is an excellent movie.

Pinocchio is one hour and twenty-seven minutes long and was released in theaters on February 9, 1940. The story begins with Jiminy Cricket introducing the story of Pinocchio and who it all began. Jiminy Cricket hopped into a clock and toy shop where all the clocks and toys are made out of wood. After exploring the place he spots Pinocchio and soon Geppetto, along with his pet cat Figaro, walks into the room to put the finishing touches on the place. At the time Pinocchio had no name and it was Geppetto who gave Pinocchio his name. Figaro and Cleo, Geppetto's pet goldfish, do not like the name. Later on that night, Geppetto makes a wish on the Wishing Star and he wishes that Pinocchio was a real boy. After Geppetto, Figaro and Cleo are sound asleep; the Blue Fairy appears and turns Pinocchio into a living puppet. She tells Pinocchio if he wants to become a real boy then he must prove to be brave, truthful and unselfish. Pinocchio must also be able to tell right from wrong and to listen to his conscience. The Blue Fairy appoints Jiminy Cricket to be Pinocchio's and help him to teach right from wrong. While Jiminy Cricket and Pinocchio are singing Give A Little Whistle, Pinocchio falls onto some pots and wakes up Geppetto, Figaro and Cleo. Geppetto finds to his surprise that Pinocchio has come to life. Geppetto realizes that his wish has come true and is overcome with joy. The next day Geppetto sends Pinocchio to school. On his way to school Pinocchio runs into John Worthingthon "Honest John" Foulfellow and Gideon. Honest John tricks him into actor's life. Jiminy Cricket, who is running late, tries to talk Pinocchio out of it. Pinocchio instead goes with Honest John and Gideon. Honest John real intent is to sell Pinocchio to Stromboli who is a puppet master. Stromboli uses Pinocchio in his act and in his stage debut Pinocchio sings I've Got No Strings. Jiminy Cricket finally catches up to Pinocchio and sees Pinocchio enjoying himself. At first Jiminy was just going to leave Pinocchio, but instead decides to say good-bye to him and wish him luck. When he arrives he finds that Stromboli has locked Pinocchio in a bird cage. Jiminy tries to pick the lock but is unable to do so. The Blue Fairy arrives and asks Pinocchio what has happen. When Pinocchio starts to tells lies his nose begins to grow. The Blue Fairy explains "A lie keeps growing and growing until it's as clear as the nose on your face." Pinocchio say he will go straight the Blue Fairy sets him free. On the way home Pinocchio runs into John Worthingthon "Honest John" Foulfellow and Gideon again. To Pinocchio credit he does try to talk his way out of Honest John offer to go to Pleasure Island saying he has to go home. Honest John once again tricks Pinocchio and as Jiminy Cricket says here we go again. Jiminy Cricket has a bad feeling about Pleasure Island and Pinocchio along with his new friend Lampwick go off and have a good time. Jiminy finally finds Pinocchio playing pool with Lampwick and Jiminy is furious. Pinocchio is having a good time does not want to leave and Jiminy leaves in a huff. Jiminy finds out the truth about Pleasure Island; the kids are being turned into donkeys to be sold to salt mines and circuses. Jiminy runs back to inform Pinocchio about what is going. In the meantime Pinocchio is watching Lampwick turn into a donkey and Pinocchio is also taking on donkey features. Pinocchio grows a donkey's tail and ears. Jiminy arrives and rescues Pinocchio. Once the two are back home they find the home baron and a message from the Blue Fairy saying Geppetto, Figaro and Cleo went looking for him but were swallowed by a whale named Monstro and resides there now. Pinocchio and Jiminy Cricket go in search of Monstro and find him. Pinocchio is swallowed by Monstro and is reunited with Geppetto, Figaro and Cleo. Pinocchio comes up with a plan to escape and Monstro sneeze the gang out of his stomach. This makes Monstro angry and tries to get them back in his stomach again. Pinocchio is able to save his father but at the cost at his own. Back at Geppetto's home, they are all morning the lost of Pinocchio. Unknown to the mourners the Blue Fairy appears and because Pinocchio has brave, truthful and unselfish, she turns Pinocchio. The movie was brand new and in excellent condition. It was a gift for my son and he enjoyed it very much.

My granddaughter loves this movie. She sings "When you wish upon a star" and "I got no strings on me". It's really cute. The movie I received was in great condition, arrived in good time AND YOU CAN'T BEAT THE PRICE!! I love the internet!

My grand daughter loves this doll. However, when I was on-line reading the description & looking at one of the supplied pictures, it said there would be two items - Pinocchio & Jiminy Cricket and showed both on the picture. Only Pinocchio was sent. I called the distributer and they said they could do nothing about it - there was only the one doll included with this sale. Will not order from them ever again, and I have been spreading the word about the way they advertise products for sale - not accurate! It is very discouraging when you read a crystal clear description & see a picture of what you "think" you are buying & then come to find out it is not that way.

For some reason, you can't buy a plush doll of Pinocchio at Disney Theme parks. My little 3 year old was not happy, and neither was mommy. But this was exactly what we would have paid twice the price for at Disney. Shipping was quick.

I had trouble with getting these books to work. Since I was very tidy and threw all the packaging away, I can't return. We have ~15 other books that work great. My husband noticed that the books that worked all had round magnets in them. The books that were not working had rectangular magnets. These rectangular magnets hit the binding on the last page of the book and I don't think they register correctly. Since I was stuck with the books, I tried "binding surgery". Very carefully, I took the binding off and re-wrapped it so that the bar part of the binding was on the outside of the book. Magically, the book now worked. I did all three of the books and they all work now. Be careful taking the book apart and reforming the binding.
